Ohio River Creek Crappie is HOT!

Crappie fishing the creeks on the mighty Ohio is good right now. I fished yesterday caught 40 crappie from 3-5pm. Kept 21, 8-12" in size, fished with minnows with a float 4' deep in 8-12' of water on boat docks and laydowns.
Had a blast. Also caught 6 bass, 2 keepers and a couple of bluegills too.
Water temps were 43 degrees slightly stained.

Had a good trip in Buck Creek near Brandenburg this evening from 3pm til dark. Caught approx 20 fish with 13 keepers, also about 8"-12". Using Road Runners fishing brush piles in 4'-8' water. Creek water was clear with temp of 51 degrees. River was up and muddy. My buddy has been fishing this pattern for several weeks.
