Not to my knowledge. You might try the shimano web site under warranty.

I have 8 of them and yes they have a life time warranty. Send them back once a year for cleaning, $15 or $25.00 for s/h.

Is the $25 for all 8 of them? What do they charge for cleaning? That's a pretty sweet deal. I just got a Calais for X-Mas and was thinking about getting a Chronarch as well. I just hope I don't get spoiled with the Calais.

They used to repair as many reels as you could send for one flat rate, however I believe they have changed. Im almost sure they do replace a reel if it has too many problems. I would call that a lifetime warranty.

    RE: Shimano Chronarch

Shimano doesn't advertise a lifetime warranty. They do advertise a limited lifetime warranty.I have 4 chronarchs, 2 sedonas, and one older Bantam, and have many friends that have Shimano's likewise. Geobass you are correct about sending them back for a small fee, and Shimano will replace bearings and such as well as clean them. I had a buddy who had some chronarchs get damaged in a boat fire. He sent them to Shimano and they replaced them with brand new reels. So I guess both geobass, and kyriver are correct. Don't hesitate to send them back to Shimano they'll stand behind them.
