    Lake Cumberland and Jig Fishing...

I get to fish Cumberland 2 or 3 times a year during the winter. Just wondering, do most of you fish rubber skirt jigs, or hair jigs like Punisher?.. Thanks Dan

RE: Lake Cumberland and Jig Fishing...

Some guys swear by the hair and some say it doesn't matter. I use both and have caught alot of fish on both. I like to drag and crawl rubber skirted jigs and sometimes swim hair jigs like you would fish the old doll fly's, but I'm wierd that way. Hey, just a tip, don't marry yourself to that jig at Cumberland, if water temps are above 50 degrees, don't disregard any bait. Experiment and find the baitfish you'll be fine.:P
