Let me introduce myself here. This is my first post here, As you can see from my screen name I'm from up here in hard water country. I will be coming down to dale hollow in the middle of march, to take my son a what will hopefully be a trip never to forget. I'm wondering what stage the smallies will be at by then, general types of structure to be looking for, etc. also any tackle shops near the lake. I'll be staying on the Kentucky side of things. Thanks in advance for any information.

I hope you get one of the Ky or tenn guides for this trip, it will make for near as perfect trip getting some 5-plus pound fish happend, if you need one from Ky. give me a shout and Ill introduce you to a few.

Keep in mind the ones IM going to refer to you will be using live bait (shad),
I wouldnt wait too long b4 makin these arrangements if thats your choice,

those of us from here couldnt imagine a trip like your making wihtout some good help, like they say "this ant Kansas totoo"

The Dale Hollow One Stop in Celina, Tn is the best bait shop around and they will be helpful with the info. That is where they make the punisher jigs.
