anyone fishing cherokee? anyone know the water temp/ Cannot find it on TWRA.

Guys, I am not asking for any fishing spots- Just wondering what the water temp is.

I talked to a guy that fished Ray creek last weekend he said the water temp was 36-39. He said he zeroed and fished the fnf and hair jigs.

fished tournament on cherokee sat. water temp. was 38 @ the 25 bridge. the further you go up the river the warmer the temp. got. about 1:30 we was near cherokee dock found water temp. 44-45. bite was very tough. we managed to put to keeper smallmouths in the boat. 41 boats in tounament, we finished 6th. very proud of our fish. if you wonder what we used, yes it was the fnf. we only got one bite on the jig, broke off on hookset ice was alful in your eyes.

Thanks for the info. I was beginning to think they shut the lake down. Hopefully the warmer temps will help things.
