can you keep ice out of guides?

Anyone know of a solution to keep the ice from building up in your guides?
Any kind of spray that can be applied?

    Thanks,
    Jason

I use Blakemores line and reel magic. It doesn't eliminate it completly, but does help. Works well with braid on the fnf reels.

Don is right, the reel magic helps, but it won't stop it. I just dip the rod about every 3 or 4 casts, to melt it off.

Pam cooking spray helps but nothing completely stops it. The reel magic and pam spray justs slows it down a cast or two.

used to use wd-40 spray. Probably not good for environment. And I woudln't do it to my 150.00 rod now either, but it helps.
