The corps of engineers said HWY 79 Dam traffic is restricted to vehicles in overall length of 30 feet or less due to construction. Is this going to affect this tournament? Heard it was a rough road prior to March 1st and all this rain could have made it worse. Need to know in order to plan my route, or else I might go to Nolin.
The tournament is still going as scheduled.
thanks
whats the best way to State Park Ramp coming from Shepherdsville?
Tournament is still going on, but will there be any problems getting to the state ramp??
I will be there. Hopefully there is a good turnout. Time of year to catch a really big one, without any bugs or jet skis. I told my partner to get ready to net my fish.
I called the CORPS OFFICE. she said the paving hasn't been performed so the road is not narrowed down yet, but is a bit bumpy. I'm gonna chance that way and take it slow.
Once paved the road will be open but they expect the S turns to prevent cornering with anything over 30 foot total length.
