What are some good methods for catching sauger in a river? I know a bunch were stocked in the KY river last year and I might be interested in trying to catch a few sometime.

Yet? IMO I believe that it is about to be done.
Also, If your thinking about taking you boat....don't. I'm kinda nuts sometimes but it is a bit high for me right now, too dangerous.
Once the water goes down tryit and let us know whats biting (I mainly fish below Cannelton)
Tracker I guess I should have mentioned at the falls. Now about Cannelton I have been wanting to learn that area since it is closer than the falls. If you ever want someone to go with you or want to go with us we would love to take some lessons.
Drove to the falls today just for S n Gs, not really looking to fish but to get out of the house. The river was higher than I have ever seen it. All the way up in the trees, it was almost scary just to look at it. A huge expanse of water.
Anyways, I cant seem to find a site that gives me the water level, and on top of that, what is a good water level on the falls????
Cranker, call 775-5056 This will give you levels....as far as the right level....there all good you just have to find out which level there at...and where to fish acording to the level...I'll be at the falls tomorrow...come on...
