Question About Battery Charging?

On my battery charger (i just bought it at sears today) there is a switch that say 2amp or 10 amp, which side shjould it be at to charge my battery? the old charger i had did not have that.also how long should they charge? Thanks for any help

if you need em charged quick,like overnite you'll use the 10 amp,i usually charge mine at 10 until it shows them full charged then i'll put em on 2amp for a little while.
that is just a trickle charge to keep them hot once you chrge them.if they are fully dead it takes mine abot 36hrs to full charge at 2 amp.
