ANY BAIT I THROW.....LOL
Keep on chuckin'
The Chatterbait and some of the knock offs are actually good lures. Use them around the yellow flowers down at Barkley or Kentucky and you might get you rod yanked out of your hand!! There have been alot of tournament top 10s and wins on those types of baits. What about the ChatterBait? I went to BPS a few weeks ago and picked a couple up after watching a guy pitch one in the aquarium. I had never used one before, so when I got home I Googled em'. As it turns out, it looks like the are made by Rad Lures and had the good ole "As Seen on TV" stamped on the box. I was like crap, these are in the same category as the Pocket Fisherman and Ch Ch Ch Chia Pets... The ones I bought at BPS didn't come in a box, so I was kinda surprised when I looked them up online. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck with them?

That's exactly why I bought them. Got a trip planned in April. Sweet....
yeah I picked a few up last year curious to what all the hype was about. I used a chartreuse colored one at nolin fishing a tournament and actually caught a couple nice keepers. We were fishing timber. This I'm sure contributed to the luck. My partner did just as well throwing spinners and cranks. I guess we were just in the right spot at the right time. What about the ChatterBait? I went to BPS a few weeks ago and picked a couple up after watching a guy pitch one in the aquarium. I have caught several fish on the chatterbait. They are very versatile.
It would have to be the jig...if I were you all I would never throw one
dont forget guys most of these baits might be banned by tournaments lol:
Does anyone remember the worms with the velco patch near the head? The idea was the rough part of the bass' mouth would stick to it which would help with a better hook set - can't say I ever caught much on those!
LMAO Thats the best one I've heard yet. Must have been before my time.
It was sometime in the 80's....I think I was maybe 7 years old when I got them - they were in my Christmas stocking, along with some Pee-Wee Herman trading cards
Chatterbaits catch bass, the Gambler, and all brands will produce. I have caught several on them, a good alternitive to a spinnerbait at times. I have several different brands and the small size Booya is a pond killer. Do not knock these baits these are not a joke.
It's gotta be the "Flying Lure". suppose to be able to backup to go under a dock...Grumpy, time for you to chime in ha ha ha...
