Although it will catch fish, it was a pain to store. The Dancin Eel. I watched a show years ago with ron shearer at Ky Lake, catching bass on the dancin eel.

While we are on the topic of bad inventions. What are some of the worst lures you have ever seen advertised. Banjo minnow, flying lure, even lures that had electronic sonar beepers in them that supposedly attracted fish. What would be the top 5 worst lures in your opinions?

Helicopter lure "Roland Martin should be ashamed"
Absolutely....without a doubt....The Dancin' Eel. Can't believe YUM came out with this one again.........
No...No... it was the Dance'n Craw....
Have to agree with all above. And also some of the things I've thrown together myself, thinking I would show the fish something different.
Yea careful on the roland bashing, he still has at least one fan....
I whole-heartedly agree with the Helicopter Lure. My friend had those when we were in high school and the only thing he caught was crap from me for using them.
What about the ChatterBait? I went to BPS a few weeks ago and picked a couple up after watching a guy pitch one in the aquarium. I had never used one before, so when I got home I Googled em'. As it turns out, it looks like the are made by Rad Lures and had the good ole "As Seen on TV" stamped on the box. I was like crap, these are in the same category as the Pocket Fisherman and Ch Ch Ch Chia Pets... The ones I bought at BPS didn't come in a box, so I was kinda surprised when I looked them up online. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck with them?
They are killer baits in a farm pond! It's almost like the bait calls them in!
Chatterbaits are actually a pretty good lure from everything I have heard (haven't fished one myself). I know there are some tournament anglers that have had success on them.
