Good luck. We just had a lot of rain and it should be muddy for a while. I have never done any good down here this early.

Just came back from Settlers Trace and Possum Ridge. Water is muddy, dunno the temp, but there was only 1 boat trailer in each parking lot... doesn't look like a whole lot going on.

I drove across the Salt River Bridge in Shpherdsville this morning and the river was slightly high, very muddy and a lot of current. I would suspect that the lake is muddy and they are pumping a lot of water through the dam.

BTW, when you get back from your tourney on the 25th, in addition to posting your lake report, please tell me if you heard any turkeys gobbling, since where I am taking my son hunting Easter weekend is very near the lake LOL.

I believe there is one right down from Settlers Trace back towards Taylorsville on the left hand side...Might call the Taylorsville Marina (502) 477-8766 and ask them of the name of the Place...I am almost certain that is a Hotel / Motel, plus they got a Restaurant you can get breakfast at...

Eagle's Motel 502-477-8226. It's about 2 or 3 miles from Settlers Trace. I don't really know what it's like, but I guess it beats a bench seat in an F-150 eh??

You might want to think about something in Shelbyville. It is about 20 min. to lake.
