    Dale Hollow

Has anybody been down to Dale. My friend is wanting to take his wife down there. He is wanting to know what the water color and temp up near Sulfer Creek. Thanks for the Help. Ryan.

Water stained around the marina, and clears up the further you get towards the main lake. Same thing in most of the creeks up Sulfur. Water temps around 50.

    Re: Dale Hollow

Well I thought some of the guys who I fished with were going to post on our fishing at the big "D" this past Saturday. I will tell you it was really CCCCCCCold... I did not do all that good catching only 1 Ky. weighing 2 1/2 pounds. I caught it on a jig with a paca trailer. My partner caught a 4 1/2 pounder and 3 others for a total of 11 lbs. I do know that some of the other guys said they caught fish on jigs, spinners and shakey heads. I guess it will be better this coming weekend with the weather being warmer and such. I just know it was cold and I was having a hard time with the reel because my hands were frozen and the eyelets on my rod were full of ice and I had to continously dip it into the water to get the ice off. I hope you have a good time there. We never even left Sulfer creek. I wanted to check some of my other areas but it was just too cold to do the running if you know what I mean.

The jerk bait bite is supposed to be heating up and the jig is still good.

Caught fish today on a red bandit...pea gravel and clay banks. Rain and clouds had em turned on.
