Cold weather predicted for Wednesday through the end of the week, including lows in the high 20's by week's end. So much for the maters we put out already. I wonder what a string of days with the lows in the 20's is going to do to all the spring flowers and trees? I'd assume it'll impact the fishing too.
Some nice sacks on Barren yesterday at the Renegade. Not by my partner and I thanks to some poor descisions and bad luck. I had a 3-4 pounder break me off at the net and lost another nice keeper. I also kept us in the wrong area way too long. We wound up with only 3 to weigh but caught a lot of fish and enjoyed a beautiful spring day.

Don't know, I put in at Peninsula to avoid the jam at state, so my partner weighed our meager sack for the points and we scooted outa there. I saw some heavy sacks and a 6 pounder weighed. I'd bet it took over 16 to even think about a check.
It figures the cold would return the day of my next tourny. Oh well the story of my life. I didn't need a sunburn anyway.
Ah yes time to bring back the real spring tourneys when it is cold and nasty, we had it to good it had to change it is Ky and the tourney season back to the insulated coveralls, also what about the turkey anyone hearing any gobbling?
well, ive been to dale, laurel, c-land and wilgreen in the past week and ive heard gobbling every time ive been out lol.
Ive seen and heard almost as many turkeys at Dale Hollow as I have fish in the last 3 weeks. And I've seen a LOT of fish !
