The sun rose on April 14th to greet our anglers with nature's best. It was cold, windy and rainy. but that didn't stop six of the seven teams from weighing in 5-fish limits on a day where no one blanked.

Binging in the biggest bag was the team of Bruce Morgan and Clint Cone who found their best fish early and ended up culling out a nice 16.05 pound limit. Second place honors went to Tony Waldridge and Jimmy Burba. They brought in a solid 13.65 pound limit, anchored by a 4.80 pound largemouth that took big fish honors.

The winning sack of fish was caught finesse fishing. Bruce and Clint caught their three best fish on a shakey head, drop shot, and #5 Shadrap. They were fishing main lake points and small cuts. The biggest of the fish were caught in five feet of water, but they caught over a limit of smaller keepers in the 10-15 foot range.

The top 3 treams and weights were:
1) Morgan/Cone - 16.05 lb (4.65 lb was their biggest, close second for big fish)
2) Edmonds/Carpenter - 13.65 lb (4.8 lb largemouth took big fish for them)
3) Barnes/Wolf - 10.76 lb

We hope to see everyone out and definitely hope for some nicer weather for our next tournament on May 5th.
