I'd break out the spinning rods for Louden / Tellico for sure and probably the same for most other easter Tennessee lakes...... JMHO...tight lines......

Ive been living in memphis for two years going to pharmacy school and have recently been transferred to knoxville. During this time I have become a master at these shallow muddy water lakes (flippin/pitchin or spinnerbaits). I know there is a ton of fishing opportunities around that area but which seem to be more suited to my style of shallow flipping and muddy water.
PS If anyone wants to show me around I'll take em out on my old bassboat.

You can do that during the spawn around here if the water has color, but to catch fish consistantly, you need to learn to make long cast and/or fish deep.. The lakes on the Tenn. River would be a little more favorable to you than our mountain lakes. Watts Bar would probably be a good place to start until you start picking up on some of our patterns.
On the upside, the things that you usually fish with would work well here at night in our clear water. We rarely fish during the day between Memorial Day and Sept. anyway... Learn the water though before you run the big motor at night.
O yea, welcome!
