Re: EVERY Sat. Morning Open Nolin

Hey KC, I am not sure how I missed this!! I've been looking for a short type tournament. It's late enough on Friday night that I can't fish this week, but maybe next week. I'll see if I can get a partner. If not, how is the use of courtesy docks? I prefer not to launch my boat and have to beach it on rock or a ramp.

Also, is there any membership fees?

I've never launched at Wax, only Moutidier, and have only fished Nolin a couple of times and I really enjoyed it.

Let me know, also just how late into the fall are you going to have the tournaments? I love to fish Ts, but my back won't let me fish long days anymore!! Danny

if the water is down a foot or two you have no choice but beach it on the bank the dock doesn't move with the water level.i guess you could tie up at the marina and walk back to the truck but last year if the marina wasn't open he had the gate locked.since the ramp isn't that wide people get antsy if you take a little extra time walking and such.

We have not set a final date on ending. But we are planning past Thanksgiving. As of now the dock is still usable. There is no membership fees. 5 fish limit 1 slot per boat. 30.00 entry per boat. Hope to see you this coming Saturday. Have a great week.

Re: EVERY Sat. Morning Open Nolin

    Hey KC,

Have you adjusted the launching time to accomadate the later sunrise?

I know the whole issue seemed confused in some earlier posts, but here, about 45 miles west of Nolin, it is still dark at 6 a.m.

I could see 6:30-12:30, so the tournament remains the same length.

Still looking for a partner. I have an open invitation out to someone, but if you know of someone who is looking for a ride, maybe I can help them out.

Re: EVERY Sat. Morning Open Nolin

    Chris,

I can't find a partner for this weekend. It seems they have other comittments. I may fish alone, but doubt it very seriously since I barely know that lake. So I probably won't be there this week, but hopefully next week will be different.
