Trout on KY Lake

I was fishing on KY lake last weekend and was in the back of Standing Rock creek, and saw what looked like a school of trout. Possibily brown trout. Has anyone ever experienced this???? thanks

I am pretty sure there is a trout creek in LBL that drains into KY Lake. I've seen the signs for it off of US 62. They could be from that. I have heard of catches of trout before on Barren in the Peter Creek area, it is a seasonal stocking ground.
