Now for the 6/16 tournament results:

On a day that saw high blue skies, nothing but sun, and more than enough heat, over half the field weighed in limits.

The big winner for the day was the team of Steve Cox and Ted Milby who brought a monster 15.13 pound limit to the scales. Their sack was anchored by a nice 5.25 pound large mouth that took big fish honors and a smallmouth in the 3-4 pound class. They said their fish were caught carolina rigging main lake gravel flats using a Zoom Centipede.

Finishing second was the team of Clint Cone and Bruce Morgan. Their 9.99 pound limit was caught texas rigging small finesse worms on main lake drops. They caught plenty of decent fish, culling through three limits to reach that weight. The end of the tournament came too quickly as Bruce caught legal fish (that did not help their weight)on two of his last 3 casts before they had to leave to weigh in.

As this season comes to a close for the Green River Lake division, we would like to thank everyone that came out this year. We enjoyed fishing with each team and hope to see everyone out again next year. Reflecting on this year's results it stood out us how many fish were caught by USA Bassin tournament anglers on the lake this year. One out of every two weighed sacks of fish was a limit. The average total weight was over 6 pounds. That is a very good year for Green River lake, and we were happy to help make it happen.

Thank you for a great year!
