    Re: High pressured lakes

On high pressure lakes I start with the baits that are my confidense lures. Mainly slow plastics. Then go with what I feel works best for me in the structure I am finding. If a lake has spots in it, I will concentrate on them if I have to.

I like to go small with various plastics and jigs to get my confidence going. It's amazing what a little shot of confidence can do for you.

andy, do you fish Willisburg? I havent fished it in years but my brother and I want to go give it a try next week. Do you have any tips if you fish it in the summer time?

As far as my 'go to' bait on high pressure lakes, it is what we call the 'T-Ville' Worm. My brothers and I have caught many bass on Taylorsville with it and never caught bass there on much else. I use it with a 1/16 oz bullet sinker, Texas rigged. It has never failed me since I discovered it. The sinker is key, if you use a bigger one, it doesnt work as well, from what Ive seen.
