    Question Removing trailer hubs

Was going to install bearing buddies on my trailer today, but realized I have no idea how to remove the old hubs. How is it done? I have a Trail Star trailer that came with my Tracker Grizzly (2006 model). Thanks in advance.

    Re: Removing trailer hubs

if i remeber right i put some on my first boat several years ago. all you have to do i think is knock off the dust cap that covers your bearings and then tap in your bearing buddies. i would get them started fairly square the take a board and lay it across the buddy flat and tap with even force. if i am wrong someone correct me. hope this helps let me know. jeff

Thanks! A friend told me something similar, so it sounds right. Guess I was thinking I had to remove part of the wheel or something.

apb -- recommend that you pack the buddy bearing half full of grease prior to installing it.... that way it should be good to go after securing it to your hub..... tight lines....
