Need Cherokee Report

Since the weather has really heated up and the water has too, what is everyone catching Largemouth and Smallmouth on at Cherokee?

I was on Cherokee from about 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday and only got 3 bites. The water surface temp. was from 85.0 degrees arount Point 23 to 88.1 degrees around 25E bridge. I didn't see anyone catch a single fish.

I did hear that LM and SM are being caught at at night, 25-30 ft. deep, along straight rock banks. Fishing is tough right now but there was a thundestorm that moved through the area Fri. evening and again this (Sat.) afternoon. I hope it helped to cool the water somewhat. Here's to your next world record.
