Here's you a link for the water level: http://www.tva.com/river/lakeinfo/op_guides/douglas.htm

As you can see, it's 20' low due to the drought. Who knows where it will be this winter..... There no cover to speak of. A few brush piles here and there. It's a structure lake.

You can find reports on: http://www.easttennesseefishing.com/

Thanks for the info! when you say structure, what types of structure are available? I just bought a map and the lake looks to be deep with very steep banks.

Bluffs, points, channels, and flats..... There's several old fondations and bridges as well. Most of the banks are steep, but there are some big flats and long points as well...

I'll be fishing a tourny there in mid september. What does a typical 5 fish limit weigh that time of year?

gonna really be determined by the water level. Right now i think it is in the 970s and if it will stay around that level it should be really good. Usually go down 2-3 days before to try and get onto something. Do you have any idea how many boats will be in it? and is it sat and sun?
