info on Linville Lake

I am thinking going down to Lake Linville this saturday. I was wondering if anyone could help me with any information. I have never been there, so don't know what to expect. Thanks in advance.

Scott,
I don't fish it often but when i do we catch 10-13" fish most of the time. We have tournaments there and you could see a 4lb bass come in at the weigh in. Alot of weeds in the back of the big creek arm on the right so if you like that you might do well to try it. Good Luck

My cousin and I fished Saturday. We really enjoyed ourselves. We kept about 8 bluegill and caught about a dozen or so more. Also caught one crappie and small bass. The weather was very nice. Thank you DJD for all your info.

We are going to fish lake linville and would like to know what type of artificial bate people catching 'em on?

A buddy of mine and I used to night fish there from time to time...always did well at night, fishing along the dam and along the rocky left side (nearest the road), with Texas Rigged plastics. I agree that small bass are the rule there. I've caught a couple of odd pigs there...one went 5, one went a little less than that...but the grand majority were small bass.
