Hey everyone,
I've been researching a business trip to Birmingham, Alabama, and am hoping to skip out one day to fish Guntersville or any other local lake...everyone I've talked to has told me to hit the Guntersville grass! I've never seen the lake, other than watching Roland Martin hammer down on some hawgs there on television...
I plan on fishing either the 19th or 26th and will need a guide (flying into Birmingham without rods, reels, or tackle) that has enough gear to accommodate myself and a client. I've been looking at a couple of guides' websites, but would like some feedback from people who've used some of them and who's the best to use...
Any tips, info, or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Is there a Dave Stewart equivalent down there?!?!

fins n grins guide service - chris is a very nice fellow. he gives discounts to military folks (ex marine i believe)
never met him but the pix from spinnerbait kid guide service - alex - are amazing and he seems to consistently catch fish
good luck either way - big G is a lot of fun to fish!
Either Troy Jens or Tim chandler, these two guys have been guiding down there for a while. Most the others are newbies

Read the Guntersville Lake Report on Fishin.com and use the guide who does the reports.
I have been in Alaska for a couple of days so I have not updated reports he sent so that is not his fault.. I am in the airport trying to work now.

I've heard very good things about Troy Jens and the Spinnerbait Kid from several people...
Any others that I should look into?
