Went to Bullock Pen Lake. Got in the water around 6pm. Lake was 4' below summer pool. Wind was about 20 mph dropping temperatures. Water temps were 79-81 degrees. Fished for bass. Only caught 2, one a keeper on shakeyhead bluefleck powerworm. Threw crankbait some too. Few hits, caught one bluegill and one crappie. Fishing was slowwwwww. Water clarity to about 2'. Saw 2 other boats fishing. Water temps are dropping, next weekend may be start of fall bassin.
The ramp was low, and had a hard time getting out. The end of the ramp pad was only about 4 out from the waters edge. You have to back it down past the dropoff and pull out quickly to get your trailer up on the ramp pad and out of the water.
