    Rain Suit

Has anyone used the HPR rain suit from Bass Pro? They have them on sale Friday and was wondering what you all thought of them. Thanks Ryan.

I use the BPS Rain suit that cost like 60.00 for each piece, but is not the 100mph set. I really like my set, they keep me warm and dry when I need to stay warm and dry. I've tried other rain gear but nothing keeps me drier like this outfit I got.

I know it cost a lot but the guide wear is worth the money. Yeah bibs and parka are about $400 but if you fish in the rain a lot or you ever get cought in a thunderstorm you will appreciate the investment. Gor Tex is the key. I have frogg toggs also which are good in a light rain but heavy rains its not the expensive stuff you need.

    Re: Rain Suit

I bought a set of the regular BPS HPR suits and love it. I got it just a little big so that in cold weather I can wear layers underneath. Then in warmer rainy weather I can just wear the suit. It is fairly lightweight. Not too hot during those late spring early summer showers. Good price too. Got mine on sale a while back. About $80 per pc. Parka and pants. Couldn't find bibs and parka of same color in my size so I had to settle for pants.

    Re: Rain Suit

They are $79.88 a pair. Unless you wear the 2xl and then the price jumps to $89.00. Thanks for the input.

The browning are $99.00 for the jacket and $89.00 for the bibs.

79.88 a pair? Or due mean 79.88 for the jacket and 79.88 for the bibbs.

    Re: Rain Suit

Now that I think of it, I might have given more like the 80.00 a piece for the top and bottoms I have as well from BPS.

    Re: Rain Suit

Those 229.99 and 199.00 prices are probably for the 100 mph rain suit that BPS carries. it's the more expensive set they have.
