Re: Walleye on Cumberland or Laurel

Most are caught by accident this time of the year. Some big ones should be feeding but they are spread out over the entire lake. All the dedicated walleye fishermen I know take a break and catch some crappie this time of the year. Some big ones will be caught by stiper, crappie and bass fishermen this winter! But go after the walleye and you'll probably get skunked! Speaking from experience

I'd wait untill early summer and try the night-time topwater bite.

On Yahoo type "walleye central". It is a walleye message board. Perhaps you can find some tips there that will help. I'd love to pattern those fish on the big C.
