    Lake Lanier

Man I sure wish the good Lord would see fit to send some of this monsoon down to Georgia. It's crazy, it's washing us away and they can't buy one stinking drop, I really feel for those folks down there.

This will the first time in a long while that I have not fished that lake in november and december. almost all the public ramps are out of water. On thanksgiving day we drove to lanier islands, our three favorite fishing spots only had several inches of water on them. Its a shame, that is one heck of a good striper lake, and its tops for winter fishing for large spotted bass and stripers.

Seems like the fish would be easier to find with the lower water levels.

As for the fish being easier to find in that low water, that may be so, but theyve had have lost tons of fish in Lanier.
Yea southeastern Kentucky hasn't been getting near the rain we have up here in the northern part of the state I forget that sometimes. We have had rain in bunches up here. From last Thursday I've gauged almost 4 inches where I live and we have now had mearsurable rainfall for 8 days in a row, I'm ready for a break, LOL.
