    Tourney Help

I was hoping that someone out there could help me with some advice. My partner and I are looking for a good tournament series in KY. We live in the Ashland KY area and would like to fish @ Grayson, Yatesville or Cave Run. Are there any Fishers of Men or Anglers for Christ tourney series in our area. Where can we get information on Anglers for Christ/Fishers of Men/ Renegade/ or Midwest.

Please shoot me an email or respond to this post if you can help.

    Thanks
    Ryan

Yes, there is a Fishers of Men circuit for your area. The Kentucky North Division is an established division with a great group of anglers. They fished Cave run last year I believe, but are not fishing it this year.

Here is the 2008 schedule for the Nothern Division - I am the director for the South Central Division and we are having a tournament on the 5th on Lake Cumberland. Feel free to come fish with us - once your dues are paid you can fish any division you would like.

    Cumberland on March 1
    Yatesville April 19
    Herrington May 17
    Taylorsville June 7
    Nolin June 28

For more information you can check out the FOM website at www.fomntt.com

join one of your local bass clubs or the fishers of men is a fine organazation to fish with.watch out for the several different tournament series that claims to be for the "working class group of anglers". because while your working most of the other guys are fishing.good luck in your tournaments.

    To: John

I had considered joining USA Bassin this comming season. I went to thier web site a couple of weeks ago and wrote down the schedule for the division I was interested in. After reading this post I revisited the site and noticed that all the schedules for every division in KY were gone. You can access 06 and 07 results but nothing for 08...but I did see 09 listed but that window would not open.

Could you please report this to the approiate person/persons.

To: Mitchell-Ranger boy they do have a division listed for Eastern KY. I am sure they will have the above problem corrected soon.

    Re: Tourney Help

Thanks guys for all the help. I will check out your suggestions. Any Idea on Renegade in our Eastern KY region or Midwest in our Local region. My partner and I fished Midwest last year and we liked it. All I know about Midwest is that last years Tourney directors are not directing on Grayson Lake this year. Any Ideas on the new Tourney dirctors for Grayson Lake in the Midwest? What about Midwest on Yatesville lake? Does anyone know who to contact for this?

    Thanks
    Mitchell-Ranger Boy

    Re: Tourney Help

Can't help with the Renegade trail but last year I fished the Gateway Christian Church night tournaments at Cave Run last summer. The times were from 7:00pm-1:00am one Friday night per month. I'll post the 08' schedule when available.

Looks like Renegade has 10 divisions. I think one is Cave Run. Here is their website:
