Question Need help with Motel in Jamestown Area

Planning on spending a few days fishing LC and need to locate a "fishermans" motel. Don't need anything fancy or expensive, just clean and fisherman friendly. Would be nice if the room had a kitchenette. Looked on the internet, and found some that looked like "mom and pop" operations. Nothing wrong with that, but you never know what you are getting unless you inspect the room or someone who has stayed there gives you some insight. That's where you can help.

A couple that I noticed ...Jamestown Court and TimberPointe. I'm sure there are others. All comments appreciated.

On the road to Jamestown Dock- think it is called Tall Timbers. Nice and relaxing.

I like Timberpointe. I has good electrical hookups and ample parking area without unhooking your boat. They have kitchennettes. What are you fishing for ?? When are you going??

Perhaps it was Timberpointe and not "Tall Timbers".

Cajun if you are thinking of Jamestown Court, that place is shut down now.

Go to the first red light in Russell Springs and take a right by the bank. Go about a 1000 feet and right across from Brook and Bucs restaurant is a little motel and I can't think of the name right now. Mom and Pop place run by super nice people and it's clean with a shower that will sand blast you clean, feels good. Tell'em Mark Hall sent you. Oh yea it's a good deal too.

    Mark,
I believe that one operates under the name "Springs Motel". Have seen it when I go to Brook and Bucs to eat. From the outside, looks like a "neat" little place.

Do you know if they have kitchenetts?

Regarding the "old" Jamestown Court Motel, I sent them an email, but it was not deliverable, address no longer valid. I guess that confirms they are no longer in business or have changed ownership. Have never been there, but their old website link made it look worth an inquiry.

For that matter, I also emailed Timber Pointe and they have not responded.....
They claim to be open all year, but .....?

    Thanks,
    Gary

Timberpointe should be open. Springs Motel is correct, could not remember that to save my sole. No kitchenet there but does have seperate sink away fom bathroom and has small refrigerator. I use to stay at Jamestown Court often but he's flew the coope. The girls across the street at that little gas station said he just disapeared, LOL.

    Hey Guys,
Thanks for the input. Think I will call around today and see if I can line something up for next week. Weather looks like a mixed bag;.but moon phase looks great.

    Good Fishing to All,
