    Winter Bass Fishing at TVille?

Heading over to TVille in the morning to try some winter bassin. Really never have fished this early in the year. Anybody have any pointers that they are willing to share. I plan on trying a drop shot for the first time and the reliable jig on some main points. Thanks

I fished there last day before thanksgiving and alot has changed since then but the jig was on fire, black/blue with blue trailer or black jig with a big blue trailer. but like I said that was eon's ago. found them around wood that dropped into deep water.

I went to T-ville last Sat. and caught 3, 1 was 16-17 inches the other 2 were typical t-ville bass (13-14 inchers). All were caught on jigs on a main lake point with a ledge in 12 ft of water that drops to 25+ ft. Let us know how you do! I may head over Sunday.

Made it out this morning, got skunked. Bad way to start the year, but it was nice getting out even with a little rain. Got to test a few things I have fixed on the boat over the last month or so. Water temp was 39 with some thin sheets of ice floating around.

I went over to settlers trace this afternoon looking at the water thought about going tomorrow ( can't go now) but I talked to a couple of different people, both skunked.Talked to one guy that caught 1 small one on a jerkbait in shallow water. be careful with your truck at the parking area, logs, stumps and wood everywhere. wood was up past the one hole outhouse.

Chalk another to the skunk list, not 1 bite.
