They were painfully civil to each other last night. IMO Obama came off a little better, and the fact that he voted against the Iraq war is going to be a strong hook for him. Hillary's face is sore from fake smiling, but she came off alright. She is a formidable politician.
The crowd had a lot of Hollywood celebs in attendance and was ethnically diverse, all clapping enthusiastically.
Ever heard of a rich philanthropist or actor who gave more than they had to to the government? Many are generous to private charities, but pay as little tax as possible. Those same hypocrites however are all for the rest of us being forced to pay the government to take care of us.
Anyone with half a brain should be able to see the disdain those liberal Hollywood idols have for the average person in this country. Yet tons of people, especially the young are stupid enough to listen to the drivel they dish out.
