Been a long time since I posted on here...lots of new things and it looks nice.
Anyway, I am planning a trip on the north half of Barkley this spring and would like suggestions on places to stay. Would love to find a cabin or something like that. Have stayed at Moors on KY side several times and it was just the type thing I'm looking for. Anybody able to make some recommendations? Thanks in advance.

We used to stay at a place called Park View(?) right outside of the State Park, that had cabins that would sleep up to six. And there's also the Barkley Lodge.
For the money, location and cleanliness you can't go wrong with Poplar Creek Lodge which is right next door to The Cabin Bait and Tackle shop and a couple of minutes from the Poplar Creek ramp. I have lost the lodges number but The Cabins number is 270-388-0122 and they will have it. The lady that bought it last year completely renovated it and lives on sight. Very clean and good prices. She cleans the rooms herself and I have never had a problem.

THIS MAY HELP FIND SOMETHING. As recommended Parkview use to be a good place to stay when Benny had it. Haven't been there in a while.
Green Turtle Bay on Barkley has different lodging and Lighthouse Landing in Grand Rivers has cabins as well as camp sites. There is also the Canal campground its also in Grand Rivers.
Good Luck this spring
