Dale Early March- where to focus

    Guys-

I'm headed down to Dale for about 3 days in early March (about the 9th). We will be putting in on Illwill creek in Kentucky. Assuming it warms a bit between now and then, what types of structure and depths would you focus on?????

I'm thinking it likely the fish will still be on main lake near intersections of creek channels and river channels. Should I be thinking of other types of patterns such as clearer water vs. warmer water, backs of deep hollows, bluffs on channell???? I also hear about deep grass but I'm not sure how to find that or if it exists in early spring.

I've got some FNF stuff but was assuming that was normally over come March and that my Jerkbaits, lipless cranks, slow rolled blades and small cranks would be the deal.

Don't need anyones honeyhole secrets just some pointers on how I should be viewing the map that time of the year. Many thanks!!!
