    How about eating some bass

    All this talk about catch & release, I think it is a great thing but how about keeping say 3 lbers and down to the length limit. would that not increase the size of the bass left in our lakes due to less mouths too feed

    In smaller impoundments like local watershed lakes and farm ponds, selective harvest would definately lead to more quality fish. However, in a lake like KY Lake it would do nother but hurt the population. KY Lake has more than enough forage for it to support a basically endless population of bass.
