Well, I'm new to the area but grew up fishing walleye and salmon in Northern Indiana. I'm going to school at IU and will be going to IUPUI this fall. I'm competent and have my own gear, and love to fish for just about anything, particularly bass/walleye.
I recently lost my fishing partner (my grandpa) so I'm just looking to see if there is anyone out there who wanted some company in their boat. I'd be willing to buy meals or park the trailer or whatever is needed.
I have March-August free, and would love to get out as much as possible. Most of my experience here comes from lake Monroe crappie/bass. I'd be willing to do tournaments too!
If any experienced guys out there would be interested please let me know!

Hey kbg1998:
Check the IU bass fishing club and see if they will let you join them.
I went to Purdue but they didn't have a fishing club back then.
Later after I graduated one of my AGR frat bothers helped to start the Purdue Bass Fishing Club. It's still going strong and was competing with other big ten schools on a small college tournment trail.
They get people to help out with fishing tournaments by supplying bass boats for the college guys to fish out of. The boat owners get to fish for free and get a chance to win some prize money.
I know that Rag Rigby and I have volunteered in the past to be boat drivers.
I volunteered to take my little boat up to Patoka one weekend in Sept a few years back. Normally the college guys are suppose to help with some money for gas
Check out the IU clubs and see what you can find out. I am pretty sure that IU has a fishing club too.
Good luck. It's tough being in school without a boat. Hell I was in school for three years without any wheels and that really sucked bad. School took all my money and I worked as a life guard in the summer months and that didn't pay much in the form of money. But it had a lot of fringe benefits. hehe
