The Southern Kentucky Bassmasters out of Bowling Green are getting ready to start the '08 season. As always, we'll be supporting the community, charity, youth related fishing, and conservation efforts, and this year we'll be fishing Barren, Ky, Barkley, Nolin, Rough, and Old Hickory.

We're FLW/Kentucky Bass Federation affiliated so our members are eligible to compete in KBF events, and are covered by a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy at all club sanctioned events. Each member is also automatically covered by a $10,000 accidental death policy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Once accepted in the club, you become part of a group of really good guys who have a lot of fun and support each other when it's needed.

You don't have to be a member to fish your first event, but once accepted as a member your total annual dues are $50 a year. You must also have, or get an FLW Outdoors membership (around $25 a year). We have both boat owners, and non-boating members.

Sounds familiar, but I can't recall a Cecil Martin offhand. I've prolly seen him around Barren if he's a regular.
