Well bought my first boat the other day its a tracker tx 17 with a 60 hp. And I bought it from a member here named Marvin Smith from London Ky. I just wanted to say thank you to you guys this website and to Marvin. This is a great place to find out whats going on in and around area lakes and for some good conversations. Thanks again Ed.

Congrats on the ride. Now you can go whenever the wife lets you. Just kidding. It's great to have your own boat. Plan your own trips on your schedule. Good luck with the new rig and fishing.
Thanks Guys. Stratos your going to have to tell me the hotspots at Harrington since I live in Lawrenceburg Ill be Hitting there allott.
Wish I could help you on that But.....I spend most of my time fishing in your neck of the woods at Beaver lake. I do fish Herrington some and have a few spots that I like and wouldn't mind showing you though. Just don't expect too much. I can show you how to fish Beaver!
The worst thing about getting a new boat is it seems the weather NEVER cooperates when you get it. I traded my boat for a newer in January and have only been able to get it out a couple of times. Plus it seems like it has rained every day since I got it - oh well, it will make me appreciate it more.
This makes two I have got during the winter. If I ever get another one I am waiting til summer.
WRONG..........the worse thing about a new boat is the HOLE in the bottom that you ALWAYS sink money into.........
Sometimes I think about downsizing my boat, just to save some of the costs. I went today to get some OPTI oil.......23.00 bucks a gallon, and that will only last 4-5 trips........FUN.
