    Anyone know the Jet-A results

    Anyone know the Jet-A results??? Just wanted to see how productive the lake was with all of the high water. I wanted to fish this, but chickened out!!! I used this time to get my flat foot recessed tray installed - or at least take it in to get done.

    24-2 first place
    big fish was 8.9lbs
    there was 10 fish over 7 lbs
    it took 16lbs to get a check which was 53rd place...

    Man.........Today was a little tough...........We caught LOTS of decent bass on Thursday and Friday, but could not find them Saturday.......

    On Thursday we caught 10 fish........all 2-3 lbers......NO short fish......

    On Friday, we caught 9 fish........also 2-3 lbers, with a 6.6, 4.5, 4.0 and a couple REAL close to 4.........We figured a 5 fish limit would have been at 20 lbs.............REALLY cool.........

    BTW.........Thanks for ALL who convinced me to head that way........I ended up only fishing a couple Bays, mostly because of wind, but I also had some equipment failure..........My TRIM switch on the gearshift stopped working. I just finished fixing it.........CUT wire.......

    My buddy and I didn't fish in the Jet-A tourney............I hope you didn't get that from my response...........I believe the tourney was only saturday.......AND from what I understand there were a TON of boats.

    There were 270 boats. It was only a one day tourney. I did not fish it but I had a buddy that did

    We could only manage 4 keepers this year but they were nice fish (to me) 14 lb 1 oz total. If I would have had my fifth keeper I would have been in the money. Last place to pay out was 53rd at 16 lbs even.

    It was a rough and wet ride for us. a little sore this morning.....
