(Gilbertown, AL) Gilbertown's Chad Adams (if they'll still claim him) did something amazing - he locked his keys and gun in the truck, heard a turkey gobble, broke the windown, got the gun, then missed the turkey. You can't make that up, folks!
With the sun not yet up Saturday morning, Adams mistakenly locked his keys in the truck. With all of his gear, including his shotgun, inside, he was forced to break the window after hearing several turkeys gobble. The sound of the glass breaking and the subsequent blaring alarm sent the turkeys to gobbling even more! Adams rushed into the woods, immediately called up one of the birds, and promptly missed it. "And I only had one shell," Adams bemoaned. He did, somewhat, make up for the hunting blooper Tuesday morning by bagging a nice turkey.
Anyone with a passenger-side window for a Ford Explorer please contact Chad Adams. (The Choctaw Sun News).
Lol! What a knucklehead...only one shell? Looks like he should move to Mayberry and be the new Deputy!
