Afternoon hunt

We spent a few hours in the woods today and had some exciting things going on. Had a fox come up to me and sniff me while I was waiting for some turkey to fall for our decoys.
A little later we watched a hen clucking and purring before she went walking back up the hill.
Had a Tom talking to us and we had him coming in but that doggone hen pulled him away from us at the last minute! It was fun and it makes me want to go back....so I will tomorrow!

No luck again. We had the birds figured out but they just figured us out as well. We missed the birds by 100ft or so, man this is frustrating! I'll try and go this weekend for a morning hunt. Good luck
