I have owned 2 rangers and did both of mine. I would not have it any other way. You will like it. Just measure correctly and take your time...

I built a recess in my boat and its worth it.
Yes!!! Worth its weight in gold. Had it a last boat and then had it put in the Z19. Only thing is if you sit in the front, you have to have long legs or make sure it's a short pedestal.
thanks for the info guys i'm gonna getr done in the morning got someone thats gonna do it for me i'm not brave enough to try putting it in.the people i'm buying it from included it in the price.
thanks ranger519
if you can drive to pittsburg marine theyll put em in for you...my buddy had one put in andman its worth it
Well after all this talk on a recessed foot pedal I broke down and ordered one from BassPro Shop tonight. Anyone on here put one in a 518, how bad is it to get the drain line thru the foam and it only comes with 2' on drain line.
You will not regret it. I have seen several 518's with them in there - it shouldn't be too hard to run the drain tube. The ones from BPS the Flat Foot is great (I have one). It has the biggest drain - so the tube for it is the same as a 1 inch garden hose. So you can cheaply purchase a longer one if you need. It is by far the best thing I have put on my boat. I can fish all day with far less fatigue.
Sounds great, now if I can find my chian saw?
