    Tourney's that need Non-boaters??

I am really starting to get hooked, no pun intended, on this bass tourney concept. Are there any weekday/weekend tournies (besides the KBFN ones) coming up that I could get into without a boat/boater (preferably in the louisville area)? Just want to get some more experience and have some fun so any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Check out the American Bass Anglers web site. They have 2-3 divisions in Ky. One of them should fit your needs. I have never fished an ABA tournament but the way I understand it is boater/non boater.

If you sign up as a boater you are guarnteed to use your boat. The non boaters get paired with a boater. My understanding is they always have more boaters than non boaters so if your going as a non boater you should have no problem get in.

You can look at the Wal Mart Bass Fishing League or the BASS weekend series. They both have draw tournaments where the non boater is paired up with a boater.

    Re: Tourney's that need Non-boaters??

BFL, KBFN, ABA are all non boater circuts

    two louisville area clubs are
Louisville metro bass club , of which i am a member
rivercity bassmasters, a sothern IN club is also boater non boater

clubs in general are cheaper than circuts

also louisville metro is running about half and half on boaters and nonboaters right now so getting in would be hard

i also fish with the ABA guys throught the univ. of Louisville team and they are a good bunch of guys. Bruce Cupp is the guy you need to get a hold of there, he is on the ABA websight, district 33 central KY, i think

good luck i hope this helps
