Just purchased aluminox epoxy sticks to repair my jon boat. There is a hole about pinky finger size right above the bottom of the boat on the side. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Did I buy the right product? What is the best way to fix this besides taking it to a professional welder? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I will be using the boat this weekend.

I'm going to do it tomorrow so I'll tell ya how it goes. However the true test will not be until it gets in the water this weekend. I'mmgonna fill it to the water line after it sets up and then I'll have a good idea of it.
Hey............
Let me know if that doesn't work........I have some aluminum repair rods that work..............They require a propane torch to melt, and you need to be able to tackle it from above....
If you can, I can probably send you a couple.
