Here are you guys some catfish pictures. Sorry I can only download 2 at a time. This is my 88 poud blue. My best so far hope to change that this year.
nice fish, how long did it take you to get it in the net?
Thanks, it took me about 35 mins to get it to the boat, then another 10 mins to get in the net. I was by myself, which I try not to do. I hope I never have to land something that big by myself again not fun.
What a monster and landed it solo, heck of a job.
Absolutely! That's a Hoss!
Thanks Guys,
Im not going to say landing a 6 or 7 pound bass is not fun, but landing a 70 or 80 pound cat, that is a blast. The blues fight so hard, then add the weight of them big old guys it is also fun because each bite you get out there on the river just might be that one that goes over 100 pounds. That is my is my goal in life to get one or more cat over 100 lbs.

thats a haus ..... how did you weigh it?
I used my 75lb scale at first ,but it broke that scale so I knew it was pretty big. I took it to a local store and they weighed it on a certified scale. I found a 110 pond digital bow scale, I hope to catch one to brake it.

i hear ya... i got a nice set of 120# off ebay.. just have to weigh fish in the net..(which id recommend anyways) the weigh hook on it is tiny
Congrats! I caught one, at 1:00 a.m. that weighed only 20 pounds and it put up a good fight. My spouse had to help me get it in the boat and it almost fell out of the dip net. My dear helpful companion gave it a bear hug to hold onto it and slipped and fell at the same time. I saw catfish on top, spouse on bottom, catfish on bottom, spouse on top. Finally we got it on a stringer and I said, "Don't you know catfish don't like to be hugged?" It took me a week to get the slime out of the carpet from all that hugging and rolling around with the catfish.
