    Football head

Does anyone here know where i can get some weedless football heads, 1/2"? I want to start making my own, and have the skirts, rattles, and paint, I think it would be easier just to buy unpainted jig heads. I didnt see any on barlows site. Thanks for any help you can give me. Bob

That is a great price. What kind of hook do they use? Is that the full jig?

    Re: Football head

I bought some of the Football styled one's from BPS that were already painted black. While fishing with one of the jigs. I got snagged in a tree limb, I use pretty heavy line and knew that the tree limb would break before my line would. So I bore down and pulled kinda hard....Pop, the jig broke free and I reeled in my line to inspect the jig. I looked at the jig and what do I see? The hook was broke completely off about an inch from the jig head. I have never ever broke a jig hook before that...I do believe the Football jigs were eve Gamakatsu hooks.

Here's a link to Stamina inc. They use gammy hooks in theirs.
