this fish was caught summer of 2002. bait used whole skipjack with 30 pd test line. the fish was just 3ozs of 81 pds even. if im remembering right the IND state record at the time was around 79pds and that could still be the record not shure. thanx for comments its my best fish yet.
Yes 79.8#'s is still the record I believe. You and me have something in common, My biggest was also 80+ and caught on the Ind side. And we're both from KY. lol I feel a Ind. joke here somewhere...just kindin Chuckthis fish was caught summer of 2002. bait used whole skipjack with 30 pd test line. the fish was just 3ozs of 81 pds even. if im remembering right the IND state record at the time was around 79pds and that could still be the record not shure. thanx for comments its my best fish yet.
I got one. Why do birds fly upside down over Indiana????? I better stop now, lol.
all i can say IND has been good 2 me got my beautiful wife & my big beautiful fish from there fill in love at first sight with both LOl..
lol there is no indiana side..... remember Ky own the river
Yes we do but Ind. still recognizes two other ST. records from the Ohio, Camposonoes (spell) striper @ I believe 36#'s and The 104# blue caught at Cannelton by I think Medcalf which is our ST. record also.... Chuck
makes no sense to me.... if they recognize records from waters that dont belong to them.... ask them if it's their river and they say yes.. ask them to help pay for the new bridge and they say "Ky owns the river" lol
