I haven't fished for stripe on Ky Lake for about 25 yrs. We used to cach them on the channel drop over by the 2 big tanks or what ever they are by Kenlake. We used shad type baits like Hopkins spoons & roostertails. Does anyone catch stripe around there now? I'm heading down this weekend and thought I'd give it a try. I'm staying by Jonathan Creek but ain't never stripe fished in Jonathan. Have there been any jumps? I'm open to suggestions.

Are you talking about stripes or whites? Either way, I've seen some fishing reports on www.kentuckylake.com showing where there's some guides catching them pretty good. Dave Stewart (local bass guide) might have some advice for ya. He's strickly a bass guide but talks to alot of people and would know what to look for when stripe fishing. Under the fishing reports section of this website go to Kentucky/Barkley Lakes and you'll find Dave's contact info. He's also listed in kentuckylake.com.
