I have a 40 RPM for wrapping(which is a little slow now that I'm use to it) and an 11 RPM for drying.

I may try to build one. What speed motors do you all use?

RBrugh,
Main striper rods for plugging are built on the Batson SWS70M blank. Graphite/Glass mix. 15-25# line, throw 3/4 to 3 oz (that top end is probably somewhat high). Abu 5501 and 15# Pline. No problems boating stripers to the upper 20# range (have not caught bigger, but feel it would handle more).
Home Depot and Lowes often have rotesseri motors in the garden area with the grills and stuff. Got one there for under $20.
Andrew
My dryers are 9 and 11 rpm and my wrapper is variable on the motor plus i can feather the foot pedal to adjust the speed as i need it
thanks Andrew , I might try the Batson I was leaning toward either the Batson or Lamiglas IC84m or IC84MH Ron
i like to paint, and play w/ a lil wrapping
i use an old X-mas tree turner... works perfect, and has a chuck already
